Jasmine Salgado – Executive Director

Jasmine is a Bethlehem native and proud Allentown resident for 20 years. She brings more than two decades of experience in the finance industry, blending professional expertise with a passion for community empowerment. A graduate of Bethlehem Catholic High School, Jasmine’s journey evolved while working for a nonprofit organization, where she recognized that families needed more than temporary assistance. They needed the tools to build lasting financial stability. She immersed herself in the study of financial psychology, focusing on how personal habits and beliefs shape money decisions. As a Certified Financial Education Instructor, Jasmine now leads with empathy and insight, developing programs that meet individuals where they are. She is currently continuing her education to become an Accredited Financial Literacy Professional, a credential that deepens her ability to create data-driven, scalable financial education programs. Her work focuses on building and implementing wellness initiatives that not only improve participants’ financial capabilities, but also advance the mission of Valley Wealth Alliance.
Sahira Montanez - Certified Financial Education Instructor & Administrative Assistant
Sahira Montanez is a Certified Financial Education Instructor at VWA, where she also supports the organization through a wide range of administrative responsibilities. Her journey with VWA began as a participant in several of the organization’s youth programs, where she developed a passion for financial education, community empowerment, and personal growth. From student to staff member, Sahira brings a unique perspective to her work, combining firsthand experience, skills, and a commitment to helping others succeed. Today, she plays an essential role in guiding students through financial literacy concepts while ensuring VWA’s daily operations run smoothly.
