The Valley Wealth Alliance provides financial education to young people through in-school lessons, after-school programs, summer initiatives, and interactive workshops. We tailor every topic to the developmental needs of each age group, ensuring students in grades K–12 receive content that is engaging, relevant, and age appropriate. Through partnerships with school districts, financial institutions, and community leaders, students learn essential skills such as budgeting, banking, saving, credit, investing, and more. Each lesson is designed to build confidence and promote lifelong financial independence. Our mission is to equip every student with the knowledge, tools, and mindset needed to make informed financial decisions and become responsible, empowered adults.

“Kidz Mean Business,” created by the Valley Wealth Alliance, supports students in grades 8–12 as they explore the world of entrepreneurship. The program provides step by step guidance on building, launching, and managing a business, supported by mentorship and practical instruction. Participants also have opportunities to showcase and sell their products or services through organized pop-up shops, allowing them to earn real income from their own business ventures. Grounded in the principles of Educate, Coach, and Connect, this program helps young entrepreneurs develop strong ideas, build confidence, and gain authentic business experience.

Each year, the Valley Wealth Alliance awards multiple scholarships to high school seniors across the Lehigh Valley who are pursuing higher education at a community college, four year university, or accredited trade school. Eligible students must hold a minimum 2.8 GPA, submit an essay, and provide the required documentation. Applicants may apply directly or be referred by members of the community. This program is designed to support motivated students as they continue their academic and career journeys.

The “Smart Shopper” program supports adults 18+ in reducing everyday expenses using cost-saving apps, digital tools, and community resources. Through in person workshops, participants learn how to install and use money saving apps, access discounts, apply couponing strategies, and take advantage of reward programs. Participants who qualify also receive guidance on government assistance benefits. With living costs continuing to rise, this program offers practical, accessible strategies to help individuals stretch their budgets and navigate financial challenges. All Smart Shopper workshops are offered free of charge!
